Exclamation Guidelines for the TIW forums

1. Forum members are responsible for what they post. This especially concerns giving opinions and sharing personal information.

2. Play nicely. Please don't subject others to verbal abuse or personal attacks. Treat others as you would like to be treated. If you feel victimised in any way, PM the moderator of the forum containing the post in question and the moderator will take the best course of action.

3. The administration team reserve the right to edit or delete posts, which may be done if their nature is abusive/derogatory, spam-related, defamatory or has illegal implications. (We prefer not to edit your posts, but if it is necessary, you may be contacted out of courtesy. Note that your post will be edited even if no response is received from you.) If your post is deleted, most likely it was either abusive/derogatory, spam-related, defamatory or illegal in nature. The administration team takes into account that there are different perceptions on what is abusive/derogatory, spam-related, defamatory or illegal in nature. We will use our best judgement.

4. If you have a problem with a moderator's actions, please PM the Administrator. If the Administrator is not available, please PM the Super Moderator.

5. You may advertise your business, services and products (as long at they are not illegal in nature) only after you have accumulated 50 posts and in the TIW Noticeboard forum only. This may change in the near future. If you join only to spam the boards, you will be banned and your account deleted. Members can mention their dealings with other businesses in all forum sections, but please note guideline #2.
Business links in signatures are restricted to paying subscribers only. Those who currently have a business advertisement in their signature, and who are not a paying subscriber, are required to remove it.

6. The opinions expressed by forum members are not necessarily supported by or in agreement with the site owner's opinions.

7. Please do not mention disputes (and/or general negativity) from other forums here. (This includes social networking sites.) Links to other forums may be posted if they are relevant to the topic being discussed. Any links deemed inappropriate (ie offensive/irrelevant) may be deleted by the moderating team.

8. The administration team, which includes the Administrator, Super Moderator and Moderators, reserve the right to move posts accordingly for maintenance purposes. We like order.

9. Members face an infraction, suspension or a ban (depending on severity and warnings received) if they cannot adhere to the guidelines.

10. If a member's post count is zero and they have not logged onto the site within a 3 month period, then the account may be deleted.

11. If the administrator has reason to believe that a member has joined solely for the purpose of spamming, the account will be deleted.

12. Members may not advertise to sell items (non business related) on TIW until they have a post count of 50 or more. Any members advertising items for sale before they have reached this post count will have their post removed. (For business related items, please refer to guideline 5)

13. These guidelines may change in future.
